Easy Peasy Switch

Torn between wanting less plastic in my house and my desire for top-notch skin care, I chose to buy the trial sizes to experience DewMighty before committing. I’m in my 50’s but trying to age gracefully. Read: wrinkles can f*ck off. This is a no-brainer. Easy to switch, easy to use. Will be adding Nova to my routine next. How about something with an SPF for daily wear? Because f*ck skin cancer too.

Great way to test the products

I was looking for face care products that didn't create so much landfill waste, offered a refill option, and were made from clean ingredients that wouldn't irritate my skin. I was excited to test out the lucid cleanser and bloom serum. I like both products but I feel there is a learning curve on best way to use them. I have sensitive combo skin and found the lucid cleanser would make my skin feel tight after using. I went back to double cleansing using facial oil and following with lucid. That combination works really well for my skin. I felt like my sunscreen and makeup were removed and skin wasn't taught. My one complaint about lucid is the metal tube the product came in. I felt it was hard to control how much came out so I transferred it to a glass jar and use a 1/4 tsp to dispense and found this works really well. The bloom serum is nice. My skin felt moisturized, I had no breakouts, and no problems applying sunscreen or makeup after. I just found the cube a little awkward to use because it would slip from my fingers as I swiped it on my face and the small pieces near it's end of life become an extra challenge. Maybe a reusable tube that you can push product up, like a deodorant stick, would work better. The sample size of bloom lasted me a little over a month.

They’re great sample sizes to try before committing. The mini bag is nice to carry misc items as well.

More than a sample!

This is a great option to try out products before buying a large supply! I thought the sample would only last me one or two days but it lasts for about a week (even longer for the serum bar). This really gives you a chance to try the products consistently to see how they work in your life/routine. One tip for using the cleanser: a LITTLE water goes a LONG way! Like a little drop will activate it enough for a thick mask or scrub. Overall loved these products and will definitely buy again!
