PLEDGE FOR A BETTER WORLD

Did you know we are always trying to find ways to be better and to dew great things? Billions of units of beauty products flood the market each year. The average consumer purchases more than 400 personal care items yearly but only fully consumes about 10% of them. The rest, well, often those are pushed into the back of drawers and cabinets eventually destined for the trash bin.

We are on a mission to reduce waste so finding a way to divert while dewing good works is important to us. Then one day a commenter came into our DMs saying take a look @give.n.glow.....

 

Meet Samantha, the founder of Give n' Glow, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit. She is a third year student at Northeastern University and really cool passionate human. Hearing about her mission to boost the confidence of women facing adversities amidst hardship made us NEED to join forces. GNG operates as a donation pipeline placing beauty products to those in need.

This plastic free July we are sponsoring our sustainable stores to have drop off bins! Take a look at our store locator for the participants marked with "GNG DONATION" for places to donate near you! 

WHERE DO THE PRODUCTS GO?

Shelters, additional non-profit organizations, and needy individuals Samatha built a community! Give n’ Glow partners with nonprofits in and around the Boston, Massachusetts area who serve women in adverse circumstances. This way, we know that your products are getting into the hands who need it most. 

GENTLY USED, IS THAT SAFE?

Measures are taken to sanitize and quality check products to ensure safety. That also includes only being able to accept non-expired products as well as new or gently used depending on the dispense system. Please check GNG's giving guide and ask any questions before dropping off donations. Currently, they accept any kind of new unexpired makeup, haircare, skincare, and bodycare. There are limitations on the gently used products which are all outline in the giving guide link above.

Currently GNG has already diverted 3,350 products to over 1,000 women! What an accomplishment Samantha has made! DEW is pledging to try and double the impact for 2024. There is several ways you can help...
