I bought this bundle because I wanted to try the bloom bar, but found I enjoyed the lucid cleanser as much if not more so. That said, I found issues with both.

The positives: my face felt soft and clean after using each. I really liked using the bar as a post-shave moisturizer. I also really liked the smell of the bar. The cleanser didn't leave my face feeling dry after, even without using the bar. I still have quite a bit of cleanser powder left.

The negatives (bar): the trial bar is supposed to last two weeks with twice-a-day applications, however mine made it about a week and half using only once each day before it became too brittle and small to use. I think this is a flaw of bars like this; once they get too small they are nearly impossible to use. Regardless, I felt it should have lasted longer based on the company's estimate. At first I was trying to only use a little, by swiping a little on then using my fingers to spread it around, but I felt like I was just rubbing my face raw. So I used a little more till I found the right balance of swiping and spreading, but I don't think it was an excessive amount to have run out so quickly.

The negatives (cleanser): I'm not sure how big a pea is wherever Dew Mighty is located, but I found I had to use a little bit more than that for it to actually clean my whole face. I also don't think it suds at all, despite what the directions say. A pea size and a drop or two of water turns it into a liquid that kind of just goes away in your palms. Once you get the ratio right and have an understanding of how to apply it, it is really nice, it just takes a few tries.

In the end, I would really love the bloom bar if it came in a paper push tube, or maybe a liquid version, but currently I think too much gets wasted in the end. The lucid powder is great and I will consider getting more.

Torn between wanting less plastic in my house and my desire for top-notch skin care, I chose to buy the trial sizes to experience DewMighty before committing. I’m in my 50’s but trying to age gracefully. Read: wrinkles can f*ck off. This is a no-brainer. Easy to switch, easy to use. Will be adding Nova to my routine next. How about something with an SPF for daily wear? Because f*ck skin cancer too.

Luxurious mask and solid bar. The softest my skin has felt ever.

I was looking for face care products that didn't create so much landfill waste, offered a refill option, and were made from clean ingredients that wouldn't irritate my skin.  I was excited to test out the lucid cleanser and bloom serum.  I like both products but I feel there is a learning curve on best way to use them. I have sensitive combo skin and found the lucid cleanser would make my skin feel tight after using.  I went back to double cleansing using facial oil and following with lucid.  That combination works really well for my skin.  I felt like my sunscreen and makeup were removed and skin wasn't taught.  My one complaint about lucid is the metal tube the product came in.  I felt it was hard to control how much came out so I transferred it to a glass jar and use a 1/4 tsp to dispense and found this works really well. The bloom serum is nice.  My skin felt moisturized, I had no breakouts, and no problems applying sunscreen or makeup after.  I just found the cube a little awkward to use because it would slip from my fingers as I swiped it on my face and the small pieces near it's end of life become an extra challenge.  Maybe a reusable tube that you can push product up, like a deodorant stick, would work better.  The sample size of bloom lasted me a little over a month.

They’re great sample sizes to try before committing. The mini bag is nice to carry misc items as well.
